The NorthAmerican Sportpony Registry is Participating in the USDF All-Breeds Awards Program 2012
This year, the Registry will recognize the champion and the reserve champion of the various levels of the Open Division from Training through Grand Prix. In addition, up to five placings will be recognized in all optional categories.To be eligible for participation in the USDF All-Breeds Awards Program, ponies must be registered with the NASPR and their owners must be current NASPR members in good standing.Please refer to the USDF website for the rules and the details on the Open Division and the Optional Categories.
Dressage at Devon, Sep 25-30, 2012
This year, the NASPR is the sponsor of a NorthAmerican Sportpony Class. To be eligible for participation in the Dressage at Devon NASP class, ponies must be registered with the NASPR and their owners must be current NASPR members in good standing.Please check the Individual Breed Classes section of Dressage At Devon for more details as they become available.
Sportpony Star Search Challenge Cup
We are pleased to announce the qualifier shows for the Royal Star Search Finals. The first place pony in each of the six in hand classes is eligible to enter to qualify for the Sportpony Star Search Challenge Cup to be held at the Royal Winter Fair in November 2012. Both under saddle classes also qualify for each respective class. Ponies must measure 14.2 hands or under. Passport and registration are not necessary to participate, nor must the pony be a registered sportpony. For details go to Sportpony Star Search.
Stars of the West Sportpony Challenge Cup
The NorthAmerican Sportpony Registry (NASPR) is the sponsor of the Stars of the West Challenge Cup. The NASPR offers a $500 bonus if the winner of the Stars of the West Challenge Cup is a registered NASPR pony, the owner is a member in good standing, and the pony shows under its NASPR-registered name.Stars of the West is a series of In-Hand Sportpony Suitability classes throughout various shows in Western Canada. These are qualifying shows where the winner of each class can move on to the Finals to be held at John Anderson’s Rocky Mountain Show Jumping facility, the “Rocky Mountain Classic III” in August 2012.
